Formulated with soy protein isolate and low fiber as an economical milk replacer.

D-M Red Label milk replacers are economically designed for performance-minded calf producers just like you. D-M Red Label milk replacers are optimally formulated using animal and vegetable proteins to create nutritionally superior products for newborn and very young calves. Care has been taken to manage fiber and anti-nutritional factor levels in our products.

D-M Red Label milk replacers obtain the majority of their protein from milk-derived ingredients. The milk protein is carefully balanced mainly with protein from soy protein isolate. “Isolated” soy protein has been refined from dehulled, defatted soy flakes, with soluble carbohydrates, fiber and anti-nutritional components removed. This highly refined soy protein is an excellent ingredient for feeding newborn and very young calves.

Particularly inexpensive milk replacers manipulate cost through use of soy flour. Excessive soy flour use increases dietary fiber (i.e. reduces energy utilization) and results in intolerable levels of anti-nutritional factors. High soy flour milk replacers are best identified by the fiber-level guarantee and this ingredient’s prominance in the ingredient statement. Milk replacers with extreme soy flour content are best utilized by calves over three weeks old.

D-M Red Label milk replacers target feeding from start to weaning, exactly like all-milk milk replacers, but at a lower cost. Feed your calves D-M Red Label milk replacers to control your calf-raising costs while keeping performance high.
