About Us

Dairy Manufacturers, Inc. is a manufacturing company based in Prosper, Texas, servicing a variety of industries, particularly in the areas of dried milk products and components.

Our divided manufacturing plant houses three separate production facilities--animal-grade, human-grade, and industrial manufacturing facilities. Our human-grade section contains two 3A sanitary-grade double-ribbon stainless steel blenders and material-handling and screening equipment, including a metal detector. The feed section contains two stainless steel double-ribbon blenders and material-handling and screening equipment.

We strictly conform to Good Manufacturing Practices as outlined by the U.S. Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act; Good Manufacturing Practices, CFR Title 21; and Chapter 431, Texas Health and Safety Code. We regularly conduct HACCP reviews and have an Allergen Control program in place.

To complement our products and blending services, we provide customers a number of support services. Our top-tier laboratory services provide extensive product development and meet the strictest quality control requirements. Our expert staff verifies documentation accuracy to ensure customers a smooth roll-out of new products. Educational materials and conferences enable customers to get the most out of our products and services.

Our products get to our customers through a variety of services from logistics support to storage to chain supply management. Support services include export services, laboratory services, product transportation, product development, and sales support.

Our History

Incorporated in the state of Texas in 1986, DMI was originally formed to manufacture milk replacers for the feed industry. After being in operation for a few months, we began receiving inquiries from the food industry about locating raw ingredients. So began our venture into the food industry.

Early in our company life, we partnered with some of the major dairy cooperatives and began providing dairy ingredients to the food industry. A short time after that, we decided that some of our customers needed not only single food ingredients but a combination of ingredients, so our Industrial Food Division began manufacturing dairy blends.

The focus in our Animal Products Division has expanded from concentrating exclusively on milk replacers for calves to include milk replacers and food supplements for pets as well as wildlife.

Because of our unique blending and bagging capabilities, as well as our rigid quality control standards, industries outside of food and feed have begun contracting with us; thus we have created our fourth division-Industrial Services. Currently, we serve customers all over the United States, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central and South America, and Europe.
